Fletcher – Donald “Don” Eugene Fowler, 84, of Fletcher, died Friday, February 3, 2023 at Universal Healthcare Center.

A native and lifelong resident of Henderson County, he was a son of the late Eugene and Azilee Lanning Fowler. He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Charles and Dennis Fowler.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years, Pat Hendrix Fowler; one daughter, Donna Fowler Henderson of Fletcher; one son, Tony Fowler (Sophia) of Fletcher; one sister, Kathy Pryor (Vic) of Edneyville; three grandchildren, Kyle Buckner (Mandy), Nicholas Fowler (Cara) and Jennifer Maxwell (Tye); two great-grandchildren, Lillie Buckner and Waylon Maxwell as well as several nieces and nephews. Our loving patriarch of our family will be greatly missed by everyone.

A Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, February 7, 2023 at Hooper’s Creek Cemetery.

Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
