Marcia loved her Savior, the Lord Jesus, with all her heart, and she loved God’s Word. The name “mother-in-law” normally makes people shudder. Not me. Marcia was always a sweet, kind, caring friend to me. She never pushed an opinion about the way I did anything. I always called her “Mama” and it felt natural. She will be greatly missed but I look forward to the day I am at Jesus feet with her!
Our hearts are just breaking to lose such a sweet woman and friend. We remember the lunches we had with Dennis and Marcia. It was a sweet time of fellowship.
Dwight and I will miss that. It is so sad for us to lose her but she is with her Savior the Lord Jesus Christ and no longer suffering. A lost for us but a wonderful gain for her.
We are rejoicing in knowing that Marcia is HOME: Whole, Happy and perfectly Holy…no longer plagued with sin, sorrow, and sickness! Yet we weep with you at this deep family loss though trusting our Lord ‘s provision of grace and peace on each of you! Please know that we are holding you up before the throne of grace .
“The eternal God is a dwelling place, and underneath are the everlasting arms…” Deut 33:27
Marcia was my hero if not for her and Dennis and their six amazing God fearing children I might have stayed !ost. Some of my happiest moments were those spent vat Camp Good News for several summers with my girls from Auburn Christian Church. As a couple they supported me always. Love to Dennis and to all the rest of the family.
We are very sorry to hear about Marcia’s passing away. We’ll keep you in our prayers.
Dear Dennis, Our contact with Marsha was minimal. I remember though speaking with her casually at camp. It impressed me how she had such joy in her ministry there. So sorry to hear of her passing. We know you will miss her. We will be praying for you in this time of transition, though we know you have Christ’s peace with you.
