Nicola “Nick” Narciso, 96, passed away Thursday, November 17, 2022, at his home.
Nick was born April 10, 1926, in Huntington, NY, and served our country during WW II in the US Army. He received his master’s degree from Hofstra University, spoke nine languages, and worked as an Aerospace Engineer with Grumman Aircraft for 35 years.
He is survived by his wife Jean Laverne Janssen Narciso; daughters, Sharon Creasman (Dennis), Holly Crawford (Dan) and Robin Mertz; seven grandchildren, Chris Kuhn, Jeffrey Stanley, Kimberly Johnston, Michael Mertz, Gregg Ligon, Kyle Ligon and Tyler Wilkie, nine great-grandchildren, and a brother, Quinty Narciso.
Funeral services with military honors will be at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 22, 2022, at the Western Carolina State Veterans Cemetery with the Rev. Fr. Dean Cesa officiating.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
