Sorry to learn of Larry’s passing. He and I became acquainted while I worked in downtown Asheville. He was working at Wachovia Bank’s Main Office. Larry was always accommodating when I had a need and gracious in his service to all that I observed. He was also a fellow worker of my wife who also worked at the bank. He will be missed!
Larry’s death has brought sadness to all who knew him. I am not a friend of the family, but probably the only person who remembers when he was born, and all the children on Utopia Road ran down to see the new baby. He proved to be a bright-eyed, busy, and energetic baby and a great pleasure to his parents and all his Stewart and Keenan relatives that I knew. We had not been in touch, but stopped to see him on our last trip to Asheville, when we met Marilyn, and he seemed to be the same person I had known as a child when I was 9 years old and it was a pleasure to see them still in Chunns Cove. Many condolences to his family,
