Asheville Butterfly TrailRobert Trent Lindsey, 44, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022, at Mission Hospital.
Mr. Lindsey was born July 8, 1977, in Asheville to Stephen Gardner Lindsey and Sherry Garren Lindsey. He dedicated his career to working with autistic children at Davidson Family Services.
In addition to his parents, he is survived by two daughters, Elizabeth Osborne Lindsey and Emily Hope Lindsey; a sister, Christy Nicole Lindsey Deyton (Nicholas); a niece, Gianna Grace Deyton; a brother, Stephen Gardner Lindsey, nephews, Christian Gardner Lindsey (Molly), great-niece Adaline Lindsey, Stephen Gabriel Lindsey and niece Alexandria Lindsey.
A memorial service will be at 4:00 p.m. Saturday, April 9, 2022, in the Tunnel Road chapel of Groce Funeral Home.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family or the funeral home to assist with expenses.

Our human world has lost someone very special but Heaven has gained a treasure with Trent’s presence. There are no words that will heal the pain that the family is going through, but I hope your family finds some comfort in knowing where he is and that you will meet again.
