Asheville Butterfly TrailJessica Rae Autry Reed, 36, died on Friday, February 5, 2021, at Mission Hospital.
Jessica was the daughter of Albert and Marlene Autry, of Leicester. She was preceded in death by her brother, Samuel Ray Autry; grandfathers, Samuel Howard and Lee Autry, and grandmothers, Joyce Laws and Janice Autry.
In addition to her parents, she is survived by her daughter, Kyrstyn Reed, age 12, of the home; her fiancƩ, Daniel Jones; brothers, Chuck Collins (Mistie), of Whittier, NC, Christopher Autry and Craig Autry, both of Linville, NC; grandmother, Ann Marr, of Leicester; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Groce Funeral Home chapel on Patton Ave. The Rev. Aaron Langston will officiate. Interment will follow at Green Hills Cemetery.
Jessica will lie in repose on Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for those who wish to pay their respects. Her family will be present one hour prior to the service on Saturday to greet friends.

Prayers, thoughts and love. Jett was loved by all who knew her and was a good friend of my granddaughter, Selina, who has been in heaven since 2008. She will welcome Jett with open arms.

Jett you were a beautiful reflection of a far greater Light than any of us have yet seen.you brought Ray’s of happiness I to our darkness and reminded us all that we could always change. You were one of my fee real friends, and the best of friends to me.
