So sorry to hear of Allan’s passing. I have known Allan most of his life, starting at Sand Hill and through Enka High and on to NC State. He was a very bright young man and very focused on school. We shared the vast majority of classes and had kept in touch after college off and on until connecting on FB. We had chatted a few times. He will be missed, but I’m sure Big Al will be singing in that chorus and ready to welcome me when I get there. Prayers to his family for comfort.
Prayers for all.
Truly sorry to hear this. Prayers and love for the family. Brenda and Mike Parris

We were so sorry to hear of Allan’s passing. Memories of him as a young boy visiting with family at 60+- at Oak Forest, very polite and smart. Keeping your family in our prayers. Veronica & Leonard Crook
Oh, I am so, so saddened by this news. Just recently saw Allan at ACT’s production of “Fantasticks”. It was always a time for catching up on his travels, what food and wine he was enjoying, and what he was doing musically. He was a dedicated member of my choir at Arden Presbyterian for many years and was a stand out in our tenor section each week and in our annual Singing Christmas Tree. What a tragedy…so young and talented! He will be so missed! Kathie and I send our love and prayers to the family!!
To Allan’s Family and loved ones: It was always a pleasure working with Allan at Eaton. Such a fine young man and know that he will be missed by so many. Prayers for all during this difficult time.

Dear Charles and Evon,
I don’t have adequate words to express how sorry I am to learn of the loss of your son. I pray you have God’s peace that passes understanding.
Allan and I go back a long way with his support and leadership at United Way. We worked closely in so many ways. He was a leader in public policy not only locally but statewide to make our community and state a better place for all. I will miss his energy, his smile, and his determination. So sorry for all who were close to him.
Praying for your family during this difficult time. We loved the music Alan was part of each Sunday during our time at Arden Presbyterian and especially The Singing Christmas Tree.
Dear dear friends…..my heart is breaking for you,as we understand the loss of a child…..hold fast to your memories, and the love ,and good times….it is what gets us around the corner. It is not easy, but as you held us gently in your arms,so too we are holding you . God bless you!!
Another Leaf Has Fallen
Another leaf has fallen,
another soul has gone.
But still we have God’s promises,
in every robin’s song.
For he is in His heaven,
and though He takes away,
He always leaves to mortals,
the bright sun’s kindly ray.
He leaves the fragrant blossoms,
and lovely forest, green.
And gives us new found comfort,
when we on Him will lean.

I worked with Allan when he was at Eaton and we worked together at the IEEE Switchgear Assemblies Standards meetings. My fondest memories of Allan: We had a tradition of going out and singing Karaoke after our Wednesday night social events at the IEEE meetings. He always sang “Sweet Caroline” by Neil Diamond. He loved to sing. We will miss you Allan. I pray God’s peace and mercy for his family and friends and may the Almighty God comfort his family during this time of mourning.
I was so sorry to hear of Allan’s passing. I know you all are heart broken. Allan and I sang tenor together at Arden Presbyterian. We often sat together in choir. He had just a great voice and I would always listen for his voice because he always had the right note. He was such a friendly person and it was always a delight to see him. I’m praying for your comfort and that God will bless you all your days with Allan’s sweet memory.
To Charles, Evon, Teresa and the extended family – I was shocked and saddened to hear about Allan yesterday. Over the last several years, I have worked with Allan quite a bit, and was always impressed by his willingness to lead and attention to detail. But Allan was more than just another hard worker – he was always smiling, witty, and friendly. He will certainly be missed by all of us.
I have been, and will continue praying that God’s Holy Spirit will surround you with His love and peace during this trying time.
Like many others, I will miss his, knowledge and experience, jovial nature, and his karaoke antics.
My family will keep your family in our prayers during this difficult period.
Charles, Evon, and family, Our hearts hurt for you. Allan must have been an exceptional man. Please know you are in our hearts and prayers. Our sincere condolances, Bill and Earlene Holbrook

I am colleague of Allan in Siemens Germany and interacted with him through long distance online meetings since 2017, unfortunately I never met Allan in person.
In these 3 years, Allan left a deep impression on me of his nice jovial nature, and very sincere and very dedicated person in his work…
He was full of energy and passion for his job that this created a vibrant atmosphere during meetings, this bringing positive results.
We have lost a very dear friend, a wonderful colleague and I am going to miss him always as he left our team so suddenly and very very untimely…
I pray to God to rest his kind soul in peace and give strength to family and friends to bear this irreparable loss.
I’m so sorry for your loss.
My most sincere regards. Allan played the clarinet in the Land of the Sky Symphonic Band for years and was the treasurer on the board of directors. Allan was a fine musician and kept the bands finances year after year, election after election. He always had a smile on his face and kind words for his friends. The memories I have of Allan will always be of good times and good music. He was the other red head in band.
Sincerely,
Bob Lee
Remember him as being kind and working very hard for Oak Forest Church! Will miss not being able to him again.
You will be missed by all those who you touched with your life. All our love to your family,
Our love and prayers. Howard and Jean

2 Timothy 4:6-8 reads:”…the time of my departure has come. I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith. Therefore there is laid up for me the crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, will award to me on that day…”
The scripture says: There is a time to be born and a time to die. And when my time comes to die an angel will be there to comfort me. He will give me peace and joy even at that most critical hour and usher me into the presence of God, and I will dwell with the Lord forever.”
Dear Family, just know my heart aches for you during this most difficult time in your lives. May God fill your hearts with His Grace, Mercy, Peace, Love, and Healing.

So sorry to hear about Allan; I cherished his beautiful tenor voice right behind me in choir, his humor and smile. Prayers for your family.
Deep unspeakable grief . . . in this unimaginable loss. Allan was our dear and close friend with whom many wonderful times were shared. His intelligent kindness and warm caring over many years has no doubt touched many. We are most grateful for his fine friendship and example . . . and honored to pass on his legacy of goodness. Our thoughts and prayers gently embrace his close family though these difficult days.
With much love,
King and Johanna
So sad. I hope Allan knew how well liked he was. I hope the family gets some comfort in knowing that Allan was so well liked, as is obvious from the number of tributes he has received in this little space. I know more people have been touched by Allan and his passing. I knew Allan from the Asheville Symphony Chorus (ASC). He was my treasurer and Board member when I was President and on the Board. He gave wise advice even when it might have been against the prevailing feeling, keeping us along the best path. I appreciated his honest opinions and counsel. I was sad when he moved away and no longer able to sing with us. An excellent voice that we missed when he left, and now a greater loss for all of us. So sad.
I am so sorry to hear of Alan’s passing. Watching him grow up next door and hearing such good things about him over the years, makes it even harder to believe he is gone. I will be praying for Gods great blessings of comfort and peace to surround you during this difficult time. My love and sympathy to all the extended Morse family. I have fond memories of my good neighbors.
Eternal rest, grant unto him oh Lord and let perpetual light shine upon him.
Charles and Evon – my thoughts and prayers are with you at this time of your son’s passing and will continue to be with you in the days and weeks ahead. You were so proud of him and his accomplishments. What a wonderful son! May all your memories give you peace.
Evon, Buddy and Teresa- John and I are so very sorry for your loss.
Allan was one of the smartest people I have ever met, and a good person. I have not seen him in years, but I know he will be missed deeply by his family. Stay strong in knowing you will see him in heaven again someday.
