Lewis Wayne Rollins, 61, of Laurens, SC, died on Friday, November 30, 2018, at the Hospice House, Spartanburg, SC. An Asheville native, Wayne was a son of Gene Rollins and the late Esther Ray Rollins. In addition to his father, he is survived by his sons, Tony Rollins (Loretta) and Travis Rollins; sister, Sheila Lunsford (Michael); brother, Mark Rollins (Laura); six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; extended family, Michael and Micah; and his dog, Smudge. The graveside service for Wayne will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, December 3, 2018, at Green Hills Cemetery. The Rev. Austin Watts will officiate. His family will receive friends from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. prior to the service.

  1. Wayne had been a welcomed addition to our family. We will always treasure the time we spent with him. Marsha picked a good man to spend her last days with and he really took care of her and loved her during her final battle on earth. He arose with no pain and suffering and got to see her again. Love and prayers for all.

  3. I am in total shock….Wayne was a truly good man. He will leave a void in many lives who loved him but rest assured that he is in Great Hands and with Marsha who was the love of his life.. Prayers for his family and my family too… RIP Wayne
