Ann Ewers Enderle

Ann Ewers Enderle, 88, passed away Sunday, August 19, 2018, in the arms of her husband, Joseph J. Enderle. Born in Asheville, Mrs. Enderle was a daughter of the late Frank J. Ewers and Anna Irene Case Ewers. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Jane Radford and Josephine Davis. She was a 1957 graduate of Good Samaritan Hospital School of Nursing in Cincinnati, OH. She spent her career as a registered nurse in hospitals, industry, and home care, which was her preference. She also had talents in the kitchen and was known by family and friends as the “Pie Lady” because of her delicious pies and jams. She was a lifelong member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. In addition to her husband of 60 years, Joseph J. Enderle, her family include a niece Elizabeth Davis; nephews, Andrew Davis and Thomas Davis (Cindi); and a host of nieces and nephews-in-law. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. Dean Cesa at 11:00 a.m. Friday at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church. The family will greet friends at a reception in the church fellowship hall immediately following Mass.
