  3. Dear Brown and Rice family,

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you. Irene was a wonderful lady and will be missed by so many people.

  4. What an inspiration Irene was on my life as a child. Her wonderful talent and graceful piano playing at Skyland Baptist Church influenced me greatly. She took the time to work with me and helped me to learn hymns and songs so I could play the church organ along with her on Sunday services. Such wonderful memories I have of her and what a sweet and kind person she always was.
May the Holy Spirit bring all the family comfort in knowing that she is truly home now. My love to you all.
    Rodney
