Leonora Jane DeAngelis

Leonora J. DeAngelis Fletcher - Leonora Jane DeAngelis, 88 of Fletcher, died Thursday, June 21, 2018 at her residence. A native of Brooklyn, NY, she was a daughter of the late John and Antonia Sojka Wandasiewicz. Leonora was preceded in death by her husband, Daniel Joseph DeAngelis, who died in 2011 as well as two brothers, Chester and Stephen. She is survived by two daughters; Carol DeAngelis (Samuel Lechok) of Asheville and Deborah Ferrarini (Kevin) of Fletcher; two grandchildren, Vincent Ferrarini and Martine Ferrarini as well as three great-grandchildren, Angelo Daniel Ferrarini, Vincent Luciano Ferrarini, II and Isabella Leigh Trieper. A Memorial Mass will be held at 10:30 AM Friday, June 29, 2018 at St. Barnabas Roman Catholic Church with Father Adrian Porras officiating. Burial will follow at Calvary Churchyard. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously ask donations be made in Leonora’s memory to Four Season’s Compassion for Life Hospice. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
