  2. Katha, Our prayers and thoughts are with you and the family.
So glad we were able to have the family reunions in the last ten years or so.
Sounds like Daniel lived a good, full, productive life, and will be missed greatly.
Much love to you and family.

  3. As classmates of Daniel and Katha at Candler and Enka, we have many happy memories of times together. He will surely be missed; his legacy stands for itself as having lived a full life in selflessly sharing himself with others. Katha, our prayers are for you and your family as you go through this sad time.

  4. Katha, my prayers and condolences are with you and your family. Daniel was one of the outstanding members of our class of 56 at Enka High. He lived a full life helping others.

  5. My brother, 2 sisters and I were brought to epworth at an early age. The trauma of these circumstances left me feeling desperately alone and scared. Mr. Morgan was a beacon of strength and kindness. He helped this gangly young girl learn thru sports the confidence that has propelled me to a successful and happy life. I am forever grateful for all he did. He will always be in my prayers.

  6. Mr. Morgan was a father figure at Epworth for myself and countless other young boys who loved playing sports. These same young, scared, boys and girls lived through that difficult time and went on with their lives. I will always be so greatful for his advice and direction. My thoughts and prayers, Steve Blackwell

  7. Mr. Morgan was a good friend to my dad (Abria Campbell) and our family. Mom and I send our condolences to the entire family and will keep you all in our thoughts and prayers.

  8. Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. Dan was truly a Southern Gentleman in all respects, a classmate and an excellent athlete.
    RIP my friend.

  9. Dan, Bobby, Susie, and Mrs. Morgan- thank you for sharing your father and husband with all of us at Epworth! He made a not so great situation the best by introducing to various sports and activities. I am sure that the many lives that he touched by working at both homes would not be the same without his care and teaching. Praying for peace in the upcoming days as you lay him to rest.

  10. We have only known Dan for the past dozen years, but they have been wonderful years because of the important contribution of the Morgan family to our lives. We benefited from Dan’s vision and hard work, and we will always be grateful. Dan will be missed, and we express our condolences to Katha and the family.
