Helen was a dedicated volunteer at ABCCM for 26 years and her service impacted thousands of lives with Hope and Joy. Lynn McKinney visited her faithfully over the years since she had to stop volunteering because Helen was a great friend to all of us who worked in the servant-leadership Ministry. Helen was dependable, thoughtful, faithful, honest, caring, compassionate, dedicated and honorable. She was loved by all ABCCM and expressed her faith through service to others in the name of Jesus. She left a wonderful family legacy, but she also left a great legacy in the Kingdom of God by serving the least, the lost, and the lonely by offering her best through His strength. We thank God that she and Mel chose Asheville and ABCCM and St. Mark’s Lutheran to live out these days. We thank God for her family who honors and celebrates her impactful life.
