Mrs. Judy-
I was so saddened to hear of David’s passing. I used to work with him at the hospital. He loved you all so much. He was always able to make me laugh and brighten my day. And you know he gave the best hugs. He was loving, God fearing man, and he made working in the ER a little more pleasant on those bad days. I know he’s in Heaven and we’ll all see each other again. I know you all will be sad for a little while, but don’t stay that way too long, he wouldn’t want that. He would want you all to remember all the good times, the laughter and the love you all shared for each other. I will be keep you all lifted in prayer, and just know that he touched so many lives while he was here with us. God Bless, Love y’all-Janet Wofford

Judy, Andrea and Laura our hearts go out to you during this time of loss. David meant so much to so many through the various ways he ministered to others- work, church and family. My work with him through children’s Sunday school is how I got to know him best. I will remember him like the kids do as the ‘Bubble gum’ giver after every lesson and as part of the dynamic breakfast duo with Judy when he cooked for the kids department on special occasions . Like many I was fortunate to have his advice on several needs that came up with my family and I will never forget how he loved me through my mother’s passing at hospice even while he was there for his sister at the same time. I will miss hearing him share about his UT Vols and fun times at the lake along with how his girls are doing. I will miss how we laughed together at Brian cutting up with the kids or razzing Ms Paula. David was a wonderful friend that we will miss dearly until we reunite in heaven one day. Praying and thinking of you all!

Judy and family, it is so sad to hear of your losing David. It is difficult for us to even phantom what such a loss it is to no longer have our loving life mate and father with us anymore. I regret that life’s pathways have not allowed me to be around you folks more. But I can tell from all the guestbook responses that David lived a good and productive life filled with a lot of love for and action for others. What kinder epitaph could be written for a Christian man and what great comfort that must be to all those who loved him.
