Gail Green, 70, of Asheville, died Tuesday, May 30, 2017.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late George and Lillie Robeson Green. She was also preceded in death by her brother, Linton Guy Green, sister, Alda Huntley, and brother-in-law Charles Wilson. Ms. Green was of the Baptist faith.
Surviving are her daughter, Jackie Higgins; sisters Virginia Wilson and Mae Elliott (Howard); brothers Gregg Green and Alvin Green (Carolyn); and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Friday in the chapel of Forest Lawn Memorial Park, with Mr. Mark Elliott officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
The family would like to express their thanks to the staff of CarePartners Hospice: nurse Susan, chaplain Cindy, social worker Courtney, and Dr. Burkhardt.
