  3. My sympathy! I was a colleague at A-B Tech, and always really enjoyed working with Clinton. I regret his passing.

  4. I met Clinton Smoke and his wife Judith during his interview process for Chairperson of the Fire Science Technology program at Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College. Clinton was passionate about fire service and a proven leader. For many years, he impacted many student’s lives as a role model of knowledge, dedication and respect. It was an honor to know and work with him at the college. I am saddened by his death. May he rest in eternal peace.

  5. Cdr Smoke was the Commanding Officer of the USCGC Dauntless. He was a good man and leader. Rest in peace, Sir.
