Wanda Sue Johnson

Wanda Sue Johnson, 54, of 10 Dawn Forest Circle, Candler, died Monday, December 13, 2004, at St. Joseph Hospital. Mrs. Johnson was born in Swifton, Arkansas and lived most of her life in Santa Paula, CA. She was a daughter of the late James Everett and Lela Davenport Henderson and was also preceded in death by a grandson Jacob Seleska. Surviving are her husband William Brian Johnson; one daughter, Theresa Johnson of Candler; three grandchildren, Brittany Nicole Seleska, Brian Nathaniel Johnson and Joshua Frank Walta; one sister, Julie Frazier of Santa Paula, CA; and four brothers, Floyd Henderson of Arkansas and Lonnie, Larry and Bobby Henderson of Santa Paula, CA. A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m. Saturday at the Asheville Pentecostal Holiness Church with the Rev. James King officiating. Her family will receive friends at the church immediately following the service and request that memorials be made to the Lupus Foundation of America, 2000 L Street, N.W., Suite 710, Washington, DC 20036-4916. Groce Funeral Home on Patton Avenue is assisting the family.
