Patrick Alexander Leon Brown, 21, died unexpectedly Wednesday, September 14, 2016.
Born in Argentina, Patrick was a son of Norma Elizabeth Duran Brown of Canton, and the late Donald Leon Brown. He was a graduate of Haywood Christian Academy and attended A-B Tech. Most recently he had worked at Lake Junaluska.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a brother, Jon Brown and nephews, Bentley and Brantley.
A bilingual Funeral Mass will be celebrated by the Rev. Fr. C. Morris Boyd at 6:30 p.m. Monday at the Basilica of St. Lawrence D.M. in Asheville.
Burial will be at 3:00 p.m. Tuesday at Cruso UMCh Cemetery, 11653 Cruso Road, Canton.
The family will receive friends at the Basilica one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers. donations may be directed to the family to assist with expenses.

I imagine there is no pain more far-reaching and deeper than losing a child. My heart and prayers go out to you at this most difficult time as your feeling of loss is deep. May the promises of Jehovah God and Our Lord’s Christ Jesus, of a resurrection, strengthen your hearts until the day when death is no more, and honest-hearted ones will see lost loved ones once again (Revelation 21:4,5; John 5:28, 29). In the meantime, may the love and support of dear family and friends comfort you.
