Sara Beck Greene, 81, of Fletcher, passed away Thursday, June 23, 2016 at Flesher's Fairview Health Center.
A native of Burke County, she was a daughter of Howard and Hennie Beck.
She is survived by her husband, Sam "S.E." Greene; three children, Sandy West, Kathy Byrd and Terry Putnam and three step-children, Renee Moore, Jeannette Greene Woodard and Joe Greene.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at Trinity of Fairview Baptist Church with Pastors Stacey Harris and Adam Guice officiating.
The family will receive friends at the church following the memorial service.
Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
