Memories Timeline

Guestbook

  1. What an amazing lady! Her quick laugh and wit, the twinkle in her eyes,
her candid wisdom, and her deep faith have been gifts to us all. Memories of
her bring a smile to our lips and a lift to our hearts.

  2. Robert, I remember your mom very fondly as a smart, cheerful, and very engaged southern lady. She made significant contributions to our community.
My sincere sympathy to you and your family.

  3. To the Family of Kay, The residents and staff at Trinity View all loved Kay and
Bob as well.. We will miss her and send you our love and prayers a this time of your loss.

  4. Kay Levine was a truly wonderful lady. I had the pleasure of working with her at Haywood County Public Library. Sympathy to the family.

  5. Betty and Robert Reid – Kay and Bob were very special. They meant a lot to George and me. Kay was very helpful to me when Heather was born. She knew what to do when a baby is born who had the colic. I remember Bob making his list of things he planned to do. There are many good memories such as going to Pisgah View Ranch on Easter Sundays after church and going to the chalet.
My thoughts and prayers are with you.

  6. Bet and Robert Reid,
Your Mom held a very special place in my heart and all others that would come to your home for bible studies and weekends with Father William Sherwood from Charlotte. Also the weekend retreats at Beech Mountain Chalet. Your Dad was such a vibrant person, still skiing at 80+. Always the quiet one. The last time I visited your Mom when I started to leave she pulled me over to her and laid her hands on my head and prayed for me. I love you both and am sorry I didn’t see this until this evening. May God bless you both. You had your Mom for many years. She was loved by so very many.

  7. My deepest sympathy to all of the family, and especially to Bet. My children and Bet grew up together at St. Andrews in Canton for many years. The Levine pew was in front of the Dixon pew. LOL Kay was my first grandson’s Godmother. A dear lady.God bless you all.

  8. Bet, so sorry to hear that your Mother has passed. I remember her all the way back to first grade. Such a sweet lady. My deepest sympathy.

  9. When I was a young librarian fresh out of graduate school, Kay was kind to me, showing me the love of Christ and especially so when I became engaged to be married. Instead of a bridal shower of gifts, she threw a ‘blessing party’ where each gift wrote a blessing for the new couple on a 3 x 5 card. (How appropriate for the days when we had card catalogs in the library!) When I returned to North Carolina in 2007, I had no idea she was still alive. I thank the Lord that she had a long and fulfilling life. I’m sure she blessed many others as she blessed me. Rest eternal grant unto her, O Lord, and may light perpetual shine upon her. May she rise in glory to behold God’s face in great joy that lasts forever!

  10. I remember Kay from when she was part of St. Luke’s back in the mid 90’s. Her loving presence at the Wednesday night H.E. and healing service is unforgettable. I look forward to meeting her when i join the Lord.
