Pauline Wilson, 86, of Fairview passed away Friday January 29, 2016 at the Brian Center of Weaverville. She was the daughter of the late Edward and Fronia Eudy Helms, and was preceded also in death by two husbands, Andrew Pogue and Larry Dean Wilson.
Mrs. Wilson is survived by her sons, Sonny McAbee and wife Georgia, of Weaverville, and Ricky McAbee and wife Pam, of Fairview; eight grandchildren, four great-grandchildren; and sister, Agnes Lanning, of Old Fort.
The family will receive friends Sunday from 4:00-6:00 p.m. at Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. A funeral service for Mrs. Wilson will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Interment to follow at Cane Creek Cemetery.

Sonny and Georgia I am so sorry to hear of the passing of Ms. Wilson.I had heard my friend, Cindi Fore speak of her so many times with such great care and respect over the years I felt as if I knew her myself.There was only one who ever spoke unkindly and that was Deborah Y. but she is best forgotten.May God grant you peace and comfort over the coming months.
