Willard "Chun" Pruitt, Jr., 84, died Friday, January 29, 2016.
A native of Buncombe County, he was a son of the late Willard Pruitt, Sr. and Kate Smith Pruitt. He was a retired electrician and he was a member of Chapel Hill Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Mildred Ingle Pruitt; six children, nine grandchildren, eleven great-grandchildren, one brother and one sister.
Services will be at 2:00 p.m. Monday at Chapel Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Willard Pruitt III officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
Memorials may be made to Chapel Hill Baptist Church, 9 Chapel Hill Church Road, Asheville, NC 28803.

Sending Our Love And Prayers To The Entire Family. From the first time we entered Chapel Hill he and Mildred made sure to let us know we were welcome there and that they Loved us.He was one of the Finest Man I had ever met.He will be missed by Many. We Love You!!

My uncle chun I loved so much he has always been there to help me I have so many great memories of times we had together I will miss him so much but I also no he is in a better place!!!!

Chun and I have been friends since childhood. He was always a great witness for Our Lord Jesus Christ. He will be greatly missed. My family and I will keep you in our thoughts and prayers.
