Larry Michael Wilkerson, 77, of Asheville, went to be with the Lord on Friday, December25, 2015 at Mission Hospital.
Born in Buncombe County to the late Ralph T. and Mable Nanney Wilkerson he was a veteran of the US Army.
Survivors include three daughters, Terri Wilkerson Toms (Bill) of Asheville, Donna Wilkerson Barker (Michael) of Hilton, NY and Melissa Wilkerson Griffin (Phillip)of Asheville; seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held Wednesday, December 30, at 11:00 a.m. in the Tunnel Road chapel of Groce Funeral Home. Rev. Tim Lolley will officiate.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Terri, Donna, and Melissa and families….my love and prayers are with you during this time of loss. Larry was a wonderful person and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
