  6. Dear Joyce and family,

You have my heartfelt sympathy on the loss of your beloved Neil. Although I’ve not seen him for several years, I wanted to extend to you my condolences on his loss.

The years that I spent living in the little house by the creek were some of the best of my life and I will always remember fondly how good Neil was to me during that time. He was instrumental in my being able to eventually buy my own house and I have many fond memories of the many kindnesses he extended to me during the time that I lived in the cove.

I know there is very little comfort in words right now for all of you, but please accept my deepest sympathy over his passing. He was as fine and decent a man as I’ve ever known.

  7. Neil and his family were great neighbors and friends over the past 44 years. God bless all of you. Joretta Sutphin and the Earley family.
