Mildred Fulton Christensen

Mildred Fulton Christensen, 91, of 851 Monte Vista Road, Candler, died Sunday, October 13, 2002, in an Asheville nursing center. Mrs. Christensen was born in Winston-Salem and was a daughter of the late Francis Lowe and Bessie Montana Fulton. She was a member of Francis Asbury United Methodist Church and she was an avid golfer and bridge player. She is survived by her husband, Frederick C. Christensen and one sister, Laura F. Penley of Asheville. Memorial services will be at 11:00 am Tuesday at Francis Asbury United Methodist Church with the Rev. Rick Clough officiating. Private interment will be in the church cemetery.
