Curtis Eugene Britt, Jr., 66, of Candler, passed away at Stonecreek Health and Rehab on Thursday, February 5, 2015.
A native of Haywood Co., he was the son of Geraldine Smathers Britt and of the late Curtis Britt, Sr.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Jane Britt Holt.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Sunday at White Rock Baptist Church, with the Rev. Robert Oliver officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to White Rock Baptist Church, PO Box 1277, Candler, NC 28715.

I was saddened to learn of my brother-in-law’s homegoing. He was a sweet and gentle soul who always made me feel very loved and welcome in his presence. I look forward to seeing him in Heaven with his new body. We will laugh a lot.
