Rachel Lou Trull Plemmons, 73, of Enka, went to be with the Lord on Tuesday, May 20, 2014, at Pisgah Manor.
A native of Buncombe Co., she was a daughter of the late Blaine and Texie Kuykendall Trull. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Marion Plemmons.
Mrs. Plemmons is survived by her children, Duane Plemmons, Jochell Godfrey, and Jimmy Plemmons; ten grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and brothers Paul Trull and wife Lottie, and Harley Trull and wife Beulah.
Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday in the Patton Ave. chapel of Groce Funeral Home. The Revs. Gerald Sprinkle, Winfred Bennett, Keith Trull, Jim Odom, and Benny Bailey will officiate. Interment will follow in the New Morgan Hill Baptist Church Cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.

So sorry for your loss your mom was a lot of fun when we were clogging together I know she will be missed by many. God bless you all.
Rachel was the dearest friend I ever had. She was a loving and serving person, very quiet and unassuming. She was always there to help. I will miss her but one day we will see each other, again in heaven. I love the family, all of you. Love, Jean Harris
