Theodore Lund

Fairview ~ Theodore "Ted" Lund died Sunday, July 4, 2004 in St. Joseph's Hospital. He was born April 19, 1928 in Dover, IL to the late Clarence and Gladys Lund. He was also preceded in death by a son, Ted Lund, Jr. Mr. Lund served in the US Army during World War II from 1946 - 1949. He married his wife of 52 years, Louise, on February 14, 1953. He went to Florida in 1972. They had three children, two of whom are living, Robert Lund of Fairview and Cynthia Wills of Miami, FL. He was blessed with five wonderful grandchildren that he so loved. They are Joseph and Katie Lund of Hendersonville, Matt and Kasey "Red" Lund of Fairview and Brandon Wills of Miami, FL. A celebration of Ted's life will be held Friday evening beginning at 6:00 PM at 403 Sugar Hollow Road, Fairview. All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society, 120 Executive Park, Building 1, Asheville, NC 28801. Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
