Robert Junior Surrett

Robert Junior Surrett, 69, of Surrett Cove Road, died Friday, January 17, 2014. Mr. Surrett was born in Buncombe County and was a son of the late Riley Jackson Surrett and Nora Morrow Surrett. He is survived by a sister, Lucille Sutton and her husband, Lawrence, a brother, Kenneth L. Surrett; and a nephew, L.J. Sutton. Funeral services will be at 3:00 p.m. Sunday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Revs. Gene Turner and Ricky Surrett officiating. Burial will follow at Chestnut Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
