Herman Junior Wilson, 62, of Old Farm School Rd., Asheville, died Tuesday, November 5, 2013.
A native of Buncombe Co., he was a son of the late Huie and Bertha Jane Murphy Wilson.
Mr. Wilson was a member of Grassy Branch Baptist Church.
He is survived by sisters Virginia Jones and husband J.B. of Asheville, Jean Webb and husband Bill of Asheville, Ruth Sprouse of Taylors, SC, and Georgia Dobbins of Greenville, SC; and brother Raymond Wilson of Alberton, GA.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday at Grassy Branch Baptist Church, with the Rev. Ken Sausedo officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery.
His family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.
Groce Funeral Home on Tunnel Rd. is assisting the family.
