Dorothy Mae Walls

Arden – Dorothy Mae Leard Walls, 87, died Wednesday, July 31, 2013 at her residence. Mrs. Walls was born in Utica, NY to the late Donald and Mildred Leard. She was also preceded in death by her husband James Walls who died February of 1988. She was a very loving mother who loved to do her crafts, puzzles and sitting on the front porch. One of her favorite things was going to see the Gaithers and Signature Sound gospel groups. She also enjoyed volunteering at Thoms Rehabilitation Center with the Olson Huff Center. She is survived by her two children; Carole Frye of Arden and Jim Walls and his wife, Sue, of Springfield, PA. No services are scheduled at this time and Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian is assisting the family.
