Wayne Cecil Shepherd, 77, passed away at the Elizabeth House in Hendersonville on Friday April 12, 2013. He was the son of the late Cecil and Ada Chandler Shepherd. Mr. Shepherd was also preceded in death by his brother Ralph Shepherd and grandson Antonio Shepherd.
Wayne Shepherd is survived by his loving wife Betty Shepherd; Children Kathy Golden, Danny Shepherd, Shelia Duarte, Kenneth Shepherd, Sharon Shepherd; Step Daughter Lisa McIntosh; Sisters Ella Lutsi and husband John, Ava Peek and husband Bobby, Iva Peggs, Victor Shepherd and Wife Gerry; Sister-in-law Wanda Shepherd, 3 Grandchildren, and 5 Great Grandchildren.
A Funeral Service will be held at 2:00 pm, Tuesday April 16, 2013 in the Chapel of Groce Funeral Home on Patton Ave. with Pastor Tom Pierce officiating.
Family will receive friends one hour prior. Interment will be at Skyview Memorial Park.
