Elizabeth B. Lamot

Elizabeth Paul Balistreri Lamot, 90, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2013, wife of the late George T. Lamot, who died in 2009. She was daughter of the late Zoltan and Elizabeth Matyas Paul. Mrs. Lamot worked for 21 years for the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel Newspaper and retired in 1977. She also worked as an admissions counselor at the National Education Center, in Chicago, IL, a proprietary medical school from which she retired in 1988. She was a graduate of University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee and received her Bachelor of Science in 1976. In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her sister, Irene Paul Heder and her husband Charles. Surviving are two sons, Frank Balistreri and his wife Virginia of Overland Park, KS and Mark Balistreri and his wife Rose of Candler, NC; three grandchildren, Paul Balistreri and his wife Millie and Timothy Balistreri of Overland Park, KS and Angela Balistreri Mullennex and her husband Brian, of Candler, NC; a great-granddaughter and several nieces, nephews and cousins. Interment will take place at Arlington Park Cemetery in Milwaukee, WI.
