Donald Wofford Wilson

Asheville, NC – Donald Wofford Wilson, 83, passed away Monday, August 6, 2012. He was the son of the late N.R. and Mary Agnes Wilson. A native of Greer, SC, he graduated from Greer High School and Furman University. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Mr. Wilson is survived by Azara Powell Wilson, his wife of 59 years; daughters, Susan Wilson Molloy and her husband, Edward Molloy, of Canton, NC and Laura Kay Wilson of Marietta, GA. The funeral service will be held in Asheville at 11:00 am Thursday, August 9 in the chapel of Groce Funeral Home at Lake Julian. Burial will follow at Shepherd Memorial Park in Hendersonville. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
