My heart is heavy today. This man touched my life in so many ways as I grew up. He was an example of kindness, sweetness of spirit, humility, generosity, leadership, love…the list goes on and on. He was a supporter and FIXTURE on the sidelines of West Asheville Baptist Church softball for so many years…in many ways our biggest fan. His legacy will live on thru his family…all of whom I consider to be like my own family. He is getting his reward today for a lifetime of faith…lived visibly for all to see. My heart is heavy because I won’t be able to go to Pine Tree Drive anymore to see my dear friend…but my heart rejoices because I WILL see him again one day. Prayers and much love to all the family…
What a wonderful man he was. He has made such a difference in so many lives and his influence will live on. We are so sorry for your loss and will keep his family in our thoughts and prayers!
Emery & I want to express to you and your family our sympathy. We are so sorry for your loss. You are in our prayers.
What a tremendous loss for this community. Your family has a had a very sad week. Know that your Mission family has you in their thoughts and prayers.
So sorry to hear of Mr. Shetley’s death. We were out of town until Sunday afternoon and could not get to the funeral. Margaret was very important to me in my nurses training days and Brian and Debbie are like my own children. You will all be in my prayers as you adjust to life without your loved one. Love
