Pauline Miller Smith

Pauline Miller Smith, 99, of The Laurels of Greentree Ridge, passed away peacefully on May 1st at her residence surrounded by family and close friends. Pauline was born in Thomasville, NC, on February 9th, 1912 and was the youngest of 11 children. She lived most of her life in High Point, NC, and after retirement she moved to Asheville to be closer to her daughter and grandchildren. Pauline was preceded in death by her daughter Eveline Elizabeth Robinson of Asheville and her grandson Eddie Ray Robinson of Garden City/Columbia, SC. She is survived by her grandson Micheal Robinson of Asheville, NC and her granddaughter Brenda Sue Gomez and her husband Larry of Baton Rouge, LA and two great grandchildren, Jennifer Denise Robinson and Micheal Samuel Robinson, Jr.; and special friends Shirley and Jim Rider. A visitation of friends and family will be held Friday, May 4th, 2012 at Davis Funeral Home in High Point, NC from 12 til 1:00. Interment will be immediately after the visitation at Mt. Zion Cemetery, Thomasville, NC.
