Martha Cutshall Hanks, 94, died on Sunday, March 18, 2012.
A native of Marshall, Mrs. Hanks was a daughter of the late Grover and Bessie Bullman Rice. She was also preceded in death by her first husband, James Frank Cutshall, second husband, Alexander Hanks, and son, Frank J. Cutshall.
Mrs. Hanks is survived by her daughter, Helen C. Shillinglaw; son, Orvile Lee Cutshall; sister, Dorothy Tuttle; brother, Joseph Rice; five grandchildren, six great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
A funeral service for Mrs. Hanks will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday at Bent Creek Baptist Church with the Rev. Tommy Bridges officiating. Interment will follow in the church's cemetery.
Her family will receive friends from 12:30 to 2:00 p.m. prior to the service at the church.

We will be praying for you in the days ahead as you make adjustments to the homegoing of Martha. We rejoice with Martha that she is with the Lord! Martha became our friend as we frequented the same hairdresser weekly. She was always a blessing. Her warm greetings and sweet smile and love for the Lord were always evident.
You were blessed to have Martha for so many years.
