Gertrude Ann Henry Glenn, 73, died Wednesday, July 24, 2002, in a local hospital.
Mrs. Glenn was born in Buncombe County and was a daughter of the late Powell and Annie Felthaus Henry. She was preceded in
death by her husband Charles Glenn. She worked at the National Climatic Data Center and was a lifelong member of St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Sandi McFall Strouse and her husband Robert of Elizabethtown, KY (formerly of Asheville) and Terrie
G. Greene of Asheville; one son,
Chuck Glenn of Asheville; one sister, Mary White of Sellersville, PA; one brother, Ed Henry of Grand Junction, CO; two grandchildren, Marti Kooles
Rowland and Adam N. Greene; and
two great-grandchildren, Hunter and
Matthew Rowland.
A memorial service will be at 5:00 pm Friday in the Patton Avenue chapel of Groce Funeral Home with the Rev. Fr. John M. Pagel
officiating.
Her family will receive friends immediately following the
service and at other times will be at her residence.
